Inspiration: Daily Art

Also. I’ve had a burst of inspiration, if you will. To keep myself busy, soak up time and to improve my artistic skills, I’ve decided to allocate at least an hour each evening to art, in the form of work produced in Adobe Photoshop Elements. To start with my work will probably be jittery and inconsistent at best, as I’ve never really produced finished pieces in the program, but the hope is that over the course of my two years in college I’ll turn into some kind of artistic genius. Hell, if all goes well I might even do commissions – but let’s not get too big for my britches just yet.

Regardless, my first piece of “art” is up a bit and to the right. Purdy, innit, if not original.

Introduction

Also. A short introduction, perhaps, is in order. I won’t do the stuff you’ve already read to the left – if you haven’t, do so.

Done it? Cool.

I’m going to be cataloguing my little journey through college, including my theatrical exploits, philosophical musings and occasional scribblings – that could include poetry, fiction or art. You might find a little out about the people I hang out with, but I’ll never use their names (unless they want to be named. Anything for fame, huh?).

In summary, this is an uninventive, fairly standard “life” blog. I hope my pretentiousness and smartassery will make it worth reading, if nothing else. Maybe you’ll laugh at my social ineptitude, or think I’m a dick. That’s cool. Just keep reading.

Watch This Space

For all you actor-artist-philosophers out there (and I'm sure there are many) you'll soon have a blog pitched straight to you! Watch this space, and soon enough you'll be able to track the riveting process of a UK college student through two years of A-Levels. Exciting stuff, huh? I promise I'll try to be more interesting than -that-.
